Admission Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program (ACEN, CNEA, or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education).
- Minimum undergraduate grade average of B in nursing and overall undergraduate record.
- A valid, unencumbered nursing license as a registered professional nurse in New York State.
- Names and addresses of two references who can attest to academic and professional performance.
- Interview with a member of the graduate curriculum committee.
- Submission of a one-page essay outlining career goals, academic interests, and accomplishments related to the Master of Science in Nursing degree.
- Completion of a graduate level statistics course with a grade of B (3.0) or better prior to matriculation or completion of NUR 600 with a grade of B (3.0) or better during the first semester.
- At least one year of working experience as a Registered Nurse.
