Admission Requirements
- Meet comprehensive pattern of college preparatory subject requirements with a C grade or higher before high school graduation.
- Graduate from high school by the end of the Spring term prior to Fall enrollment
- Submit all transcripts from previous institutions attended
- Provide SAT/ACT scores
- Obtain a minimum 2.5 GPA in college preparatory subjects and a 3,200 "CSULB Index" (for non-STEM majors)
- Achieve a minimum 3,600 "STEM Index" for STEM majors (higher than minimum for CSU system-wide eligibility)
- Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA in college preparatory subjects and a 3,500 "CSULB Index" (for non-STEM majors)
