Admission Requirements
- $85 nonrefundable application fee required
- Official transcripts from all high school academic work must be submitted by school counselor or another school official
- Completion of either ACT or SAT required
- Recommended for non-native English speakers or those not currently studying in an English-medium curriculum to take an English proficiency test (DUOLINGO, IELTS, PTE, TOEFL)
- One-page personal essay and short essay questions specific to Duke must be completed
- Three letters of recommendation required, one from school counselor and two from teachers in major academic courses (English, math, social studies, science, foreign languages)
- For obtaining an F-1 visa, proof of ability to meet educational expenses and I-20 form must be submitted to home country's U.S. consulate.
