Admission Requirements
- Minimum of a BS degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, or related fields such as any Engineering Major, Chemistry, Computer Science, Material Science, Mathematics/Applied Mathematics or Physics/Applied Physics
- Non-majors (without a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering) may be required to complete up to 12 credit hours of remedial coursework in Mechanical Engineering as a condition of admission
- Must have a 3.0 upper-division GPA
- GRE Verbal score of 150 or higher
- GRE Quantitative score of 155 or higher, or a combined GRE General Test score of 1150
- International students must achieve a minimum score of 550 on the paper-based TOEFL exam, 213 on the computer-based exam, or 80 on the Internet-based exam
- Additional requirements include a personal statement, resume, and three letters of recommendation
