- Standard: IELTS 5.0 (with a minimum of 5.0 in Writing and Reading and 4.5 in all other subskills) or equivalent.
- Extended: IELTS 4.5 overall (with a minimum of 4.5 in Writing and Reading and no less than 4.0 in other subskills) or equivalent.
- Completion of 12 years of schooling (or the local equivalent to meet the same standard) with good grades.
- 16 years and above.\xa0All students must be 16 years old by the time they start their INTO UEA course and turn 17 years old by 15 September of the year they start their degree at UEA.
