Admission Requirements
- Minimum GPA requirement for the program is 2.0
- Students with a GPA below 2.0 must consult with departmental advisor
- Students with prior credit earned at UNC Charlotte must have a minimum overall and Biology GPA of 2.0
- Complete the following prerequisite courses with minimum grades of C: General Biology, General Chemistry, and General Chemistry Laboratory
- Submit an application and pay the non-refundable fee of $80
- Show proof of English proficiency
- Submit school records or transcripts from the last four years of pre-university curriculum, including grades 9-11 or 12 for high school graduates
- Submit one required essay
- Freshmen applicants are not required to submit SAT or ACT scores due to limited testing opportunities caused by COVID-19.
