- Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or closely related field
- GPA in major must be 3.00 or higher
- Prerequisites: minimum of 60 undergraduate hours in four different technical/engineering areas
- GRE requirement can be waived if applicant has three years of U.S. work experience and an undergraduate GPA of 3.25/4.0, and applies for non-thesis option without graduate assistantship consideration
- Three recommendations from former instructors required
- Program advances understanding of technology in modern manufacturing workplace
- Recommendations must come from instructors able to judge aptitude for graduate study
