- 1. Grade-point average of at least 3.0 (of 4.0) for previous two years of undergraduate work is strongly recommended 2. Teaching assistantships awarded preferentially to students enrolled in the M.S. and Ph.D. Geosciences programs. 3. Successful completion of GEOS 1300, 1310, 3010 or 3350, and a field experience. 4. Completion of specific courses before finishing degree may be necessary. 5. Submit copy of passport identification page. 6. Demonstrate English language proficiency. 7. Provide transcripts from all post-secondary schools attended or currently attending, including diplomas, exam results, mark sheets, and certificates. 8. Pay $100 non-refundable application fee. 9. Show proof of sufficient funds for first year of study at WMU according to estimated cost of attendance.
