- Cambridge test
- Graduation from a school where English is the official language for higher education exempts proficiency demonstration.
- English proficiency must be demonstrated for international degree-seeking applicants who do not have a diploma from a U.S. senior high school accredited by the state or territory's department of education where it is located
- Proficiency can be shown through meeting threshold scores on approved proficiency tests recommended by TESOL faculty and approved by the IEAC.
