Admission Requirements
- Minimum admission requirements of the College of Graduate Studies must be met
- Undergraduate major in chemistry or equivalent must be presented
- Completion of at least one year of study in organic and physical chemistry is required
- In some cases of slightly deficient undergraduate preparation, provisional status may be granted with approval from chair of Chemistry Department and Graduate Dean
- Acceptable score on the GRE general test is necessary for admission
- Submission of three recommendation letters and responses to four statements, each less than one page in length, is required
